November in the emirates seems to be a busy time. There was the F1 final in Abu Dhabi last weekend, there is the FIFA World Cup in Katar and there is the second edition of the Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival. Maybe a somewhat bulky name for a fantastic idea - to gather some of the greatest historic racing cars on one of the best tracks in the UAE! We thought this is not an event to be missed.

Ramp magazine, edition 58 / „Oh shit!“
We are very glad that the ramp magazine tested in their summer 2022 edition two cars that we sold recently!
The Michelotto built Ferrari 333 SP is chassis number 019 and won in its famous Momo livery the legendary 24 hours of Daytona, the 12 hours of Sebring and finished third at the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1998. That makes it the most successful Ferrari 333 SP ever!

The 2018 Porsche 911 / 991 RSR is one of only a handful mid engined Works RSRs in private hands. This specific car was entered by Porsche Motorsport in the FIA WEC championship and was raced at the 24 hours of Le Mans and in Spa-Francorchamps. Still one of the coolest liveries until today!

As every year, Jan will be attending the Ferrari World Finals (Finali Mondiali) at Imola 28 - 30 October. He will also enter his Ferrari 458 GTE Works car in the Club Competizione GT program there.

On a hot summer day we received an e-mail from Natan Tazelaar, who wanted to write an article about the 993 GT2 Clubsport and Carrara Cup 3.8 RSR, because they "are the most desirable and hard-to-find 911 variants of there 993 generation".
A couples of days later Natan and his friend Ingmar Timmer, who shot the pictures, arrived at our showroom to have a look at two stunning beauties and get all the information and pictures for the Vintage Motorsport Magazine.
"With a total production of only 30 examples however, the RSR is much more exclusive and collectible than most other 993 family members."
Collectible and Exclusive
"Walking around these two beautiful machines the GT2 Clubsport and the RSR during the photography session in Germany, we were talking to Matthias Bemben, who represents Jan B. Lühn, the exclusive [race] car dealer who has both cars on offer. Bemben showed us a file folder with all the documentation that came with the RSR, which depicted a striking difference between these two 993s. The GT2 also has a very detailed history, but the RSR comes with a little booklet from the German Motorsport Association showing page after page where the car raced since it was first acquired by the famous German Zakspeed team in early 1998."
The offered cars of the „Leichtbau Collection“ have been bought together by a German collector over many years with the aim to have the top models of the 993 model range. Featured are a white Porsche 993 RS Clubsport, a red 993 RSR and a red 993 GT2 Clubsport. The international media was quite excited about this collection and wrote the following:

Also the German magazine Auto, Motor & Sport, by far the most important and influential German car magazine, featured the collecting (translated from German):

Oh, you don't even have to be a Porsche fan - even someone who isn't particularly interested will see at first glance that a few very special examples have been gathered here. The top models of the air-cooled 911 era. There are three Porsche 911 of the 993 series, which together have the sonorous name "Lightweight Collection" and as such are currently for sale. Let's take a look at the cars one by one. It took a total of around ten years to unite these top-class players into one collection. The elite of the air-cooled 911 should give even the most exquisite Porsche collection a very special shine."
